I suppose it boosts the number of Google+ users...<br />Anyway, I've been told by someone* who couldn't post a comment that the ladder is used by the starter in athletics meetings. Always a competitive game when they're involved, and if the football happens to be boring, you can just sit and watch the trains go past. Yes, Kevin Gibbens is still at B&L - player-manager sitting in the back four at Christchurch. His photo is framed and hung on the wall at his old school, along with Phil Warner, who I presume joined Saints at the same time.Andrew Ormerodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05056455206054228722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1362713152207826725.post-20287882173852260482014-08-11T21:32:35.856+01:002014-08-11T21:32:35.856+01:00Welcome back for another season! After going past it on the train last week thanks to an unexpected detour I think I'll have to give Moneyfields a visit though. Somehow seeing a football ground for the first time, no matter what size, is always a bit of excitement. B & L are a side I've encountered a few times, though I've got a feeling that they have lost a few key players, one being Alex Baldacchino who moved to Sholing at the tail end of last season. Is Kevin Gibbens still there?Neilhttp://www.rowzfootball.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
